Friulano Friuli Colli Orientali

Produced from 80- to 125-year-old Friulano vines, this wine is a classic expression of one of Friuli’s most celebrated indigenous white grape varieties. The vineyards are located on south-facing hills at 180 metres above sea level, where clay and sandstone soils contribute both freshness and depth. The fruit comes from five separate vineyard parcels, each harvested by hand with careful selection and vinified individually to preserve its unique character before the final blend.

The grapes are whole-bunch pressed without destemming, allowing for a gentle extraction that enhances purity and elegance. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 16°C for 10 days, preserving the grape’s delicate aromatics. The wine is then aged for six months on its fine lees in stainless steel before the individual lots are blended, adding texture and complexity while maintaining vibrant freshness.

The bouquet is richly floral, recalling wildflowers in bloom, with subtle layers of fresh orchard fruit and delicate herbal nuances. On the palate, the wine is silky, refined, and beautifully balanced, combining a smooth, elegant texture with a firm underlying structure that carries the wine through a long, graceful finish. Pure, expressive, and sophisticated, this Friulano is an excellent partner for seafood, risotto, white meats, and traditional Friulian cuisine.

畑は南向きの丘に位置し、標高180m、土壌は粘土と砂岩です。葡萄の樹齢は80年から125年、仕立てはギヨーです。収穫は畑で選別しながら手摘みで行います。畑は5ヶ所の異なる区画に分かれており、別々に醸造します。収穫した葡萄は除梗せず全房圧搾し、16度に温度管理しながらステンレスタンクで10日間発酵させます。その後、ステンレスタンクで綺麗な澱と共に6ヶ月熟成させた後ブレンドします。野の花を思わせる豊かなアロマを持つ上品で繊細なワインです。なめらかな口当たり、しっかりとした骨格が全体を支えています。
